Description
A Regional Sales Manager oversees sales operations in a designated territory, acting as the bridge between corporate strategy and field execution.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market penetration goals.
- Leading and mentoring a sales team, including recruiting, training, and providing ongoing guidance to ensure performance objectives are met.
- Monitoring sales performance through metrics, CRM systems, and regional reports, and adjusting strategies based on market trends and competitor activity.
- Building and maintaining relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to foster long-term business growth.
- Budgeting and forecasting for the region, including quarterly and annual profit projections.
- Collaborating with internal teams such as marketing, product, and operations to support sales initiatives and ensure cohesive execution.
- Addressing operational challenges and providing solutions to maintain smooth regional operations.
Requirement
Qualifications:- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is often preferred for senior roles.
- Industry knowledge relevant to the company’s products or services, often with 5–10+ years of B2B sales experience.
- Strong leadership and team management skills to motivate and guide sales personnel.
- Analytical and strategic thinking to interpret sales data, identify opportunities, and adjust plans accordingly.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English for client interactions and internal coordination.
